My reflection..

I see a girl, dressed in black,
as though in constant mourning.
But for who or what,
the knowledge i lack.

I see her skin, unearthly white,
as though it's been years,
since she was last bathed in light.

I see the scars on her arms
and i know it's true,
this girl has fallen in love with darkness.
It's consumed her so she's always blue.

I see in her eyes, the pain she feels.
She wants it all to end,
and with the knife in her hand,
her fate she seals.

I see her reflection
for the very last time,
as the room darkens around me
and the mirror slips from my hand.
i cry a tear for the girl,
who's reflection is mine.
