Under a Tree

by *Kyle*   Aug 12, 2005

Laying out under a tree, the view of the sunset entirely free, the whole world; standing still, better than any senseless thrill, So for now I'm just along for the ride, the quiet nights and the oncoming tide, finding myself in a lover's eyes, the warming feeling of unbreakable ties, Bind me, break me, bring me down, build me up, destroy my frown; find me by the water front, loving you, a stupid stunt. I hope you find yourself a smile, a brand new face and a whole new style, I loved you in morning light, the evening air and the dark of night, these memories they never cease, they hold me tightly with no release, so regardless of the current feeling, or the awkward glances we've been stealing, If you need me I'll be here, your closest friend, a listening ear, you can find me laying under that tree, with the view of the sunset, entirely free.
