When the Vampire falls in love.

He stands alone once more.
And cries a tear,
for the one
he would do anything for.

She passed his dark corner
without noticing him
standing right there.
She walks on, with her new love
without a care.

He feels a familiar hurt
rise through his veins.
but for now he knows,
he must forget her
to go sooth his pains.

It's time for someone new.
This time though
he won't let it happen again,
he won't get too close.
Just feed on a few.

He still recalls the night they shared.
When he almost forgot his fate.
Believed he could love
and remebered too late.

She felt him taste, a silent fear
creeping through her.
but she loved him and didn't realize,
for what he was doing,
there was no cure.

She won't know
what has become her curse
given by her lover.
Until she finds she's breathing again from under
Death's dark cover.
