The Enchanted Girl

by beautiful strangness   Aug 12, 2005

The sleepy girl
lay down her sleepy head
Her eyes lay heavy, dreams becoming real

Flying through dark blue, star filled skies
Swimming the deepest, blackest oceans

In her mind, she is free
a place, a face reminiscing her life away

Days become years, still the girl sleeps
Her deep enchanted sleep

She’s lost they say, or just forgotten
Still the girl sleeps
