Looking back.....part two

Now if you think you know his name
then chances are you've felt his pain
and some my friend might think this fiction
but he is real hes called addiction
now looking back its plain to see
addiction is the beast in me
he's always there he's made his space
within my soul and on my face
now that i see him and know him there
i treat him with a different care
his power still great and yet so small
when i call on the one who created us all
the creator knows him and he knows me
and its through his power that I'm set free
so if addiction is part of you
and you want it over finished and through
if you want to end the pain and strife
then go to the source that gave you life
go to him on bended knee
and seek his power with humility
go to him morning and night
with out him you cant win this fight
tell him you need his strength and power
to over come in weakened hour
and if your heart is willing repentant and true
this power of his he gives to you
and now you have the power with-in
to start a new life and live again.
