More Than I Should

by Libby   Aug 13, 2005

Half a year has passed
Since I first loved you
More than I should

I look back in contrast
The two years between us
A gap that was bridged

The older sister of a good friend
I admire you
I look up to you
Paragon, I see you as perfection now
Though I can see your flaws
I love you all the more

As we talked
I saw you less as an acquaintance
More as a friend and
We shared a private joke,
And grinned

We are friends
My mind spins
My heart is not satisfied
