To write like you

To write like you
would all my blood take
to spill my emotions
onto a page

then swirl them around
an artist at work
and in the poem
my soul would lurk

with my lonesome heart
behind the script
totally entombed
caged in a crypt

to write like you
would all my blood take
and kill me now
wouldn't that be great?
