I was searching for something,
Something so true to me,
Finally I found it,
And it scared away all my misery.

Nobody knew me like you do,
And I have let you into my life,
But there is a lot to tell,
Like when I use the knife.

But you can look further than the cover,
You have seen deeper than my eyes,
You have overlooked the horror,
The misery, the heartache and the lies.

You love me for me,
And I love you for you,
I will love you forever,
And I will always be so ever true.

I hope I will not have to use the knife,
Because I have something new,
I hope it will cheer me up,
And clear me out of the blue.

Thank you for your gift god,
This I will treasure forever,
I will never be so thankful,
And we will remain together.

My life is now full of happiness,
But I still have my dull times,
But at least I know I have something,
To talk to and clear my mind.
