Love Like This

Watch as the stars fall one by one,
as day approaches the waking sun.
The Angel's whispering in the breeze,
and love has got me on my knees.

The wind coos softly as if to speak,
while gently brushing against my cheek.
My thoughts start slipping away from me,
as my soul slowly drifts out to sea.

If only love could be like this,
engulfing me in a soothing bliss,
embracing me like the morning sun,
held together until two become one.
