Suicide

Have you ever thought about
has it crossed your mind
to take away that final breath
in an act of suicide

What if you took that razor blade
and dragged it far too deep
drowning in your darkened blood
as from your body it seeped

What if you took that pot of pills
which always relieved your pain
but this time took an overdose
and never woke up again

Or how about the skipping rope
you played with when you were young
helplessly you carry out
your sentence to be hung

Try and dip your toes over
the edge of that staggering cliff
just one small step and then your there
your body cold and stiff

So now you've seen a preview
it's time i must decide
I'm leaving to find happiness
beyond my suicide
