It comes out of nowhere and eats you alive
It’s a feeling you can’t get enough of
But then it’s hard to survive
No one can stop it
You giggle and you smile
Then you’re hardly alive

Until they’ve lost someone and been through it too
Love makes no sense
Love is not guilty nor innocent
Love gives birth and love takes lives
Love gives you wings so you learn how to fly
Then love clips your wings and leaves you alone to die
Love is not cruel nor is it kind
It’s a flash of light that makes you blind
So you can’t see through the lies
Love is not a friend not is it a foe
Love is a roller coaster ride that brings you up high
And throws you down low
Love is the thing that captures your heart
Then throws it away and rips it apart
Love is love nothing more nothing less
What you don’t see is what you get
A lot of fun and loneliness
Love has no shape love has no form
It’s never been dead and it was never born
It’s a ghost that haunts you and won’t go away
It’s the thing that brings back all the memories
Love is not easy nor is it hard
Its getting the person out of your mind that tends to be hard
Love is the thing that takes you away from your mind
And shows you a whole new life
Love in not deceitful nor is it truthful
Love is what makes you act like a fool
Love is what makes you win and lose
Love makes you happy and
Then it breaks you in two
