It's not that bad

Yes these times are awfully bad
And dear God it’s so hard not to feel sad
But surely good times are there to be had
Just open your heart – you’re alive - be glad

Yes it is awful that loved ones are gone
And dear God it’s so hard not to be so forlorn
But life does go on and others are there
Readily showing how very much that they care

Yes I do cry at the drop of a hat
And dear God it’s so hard not to wallow in that
But blue skies appear and soft winds continue to blow
With love in your heart you can do it I know

Yes life is going to be different from now
And dear God I hate that it has to be now
But for me all life has started anew
How to do it – I have not one jolly clue
