I know it's hard to believe that I have never had a dream
Every night it's a black, endless void
Time flies by fast or slow
But the dark place where I go is my foe
I have never seen colors, shapes, or scenes
I just go to sleep in my dark, black sleep
It gives me such a headache,
seeing darkness every night
I just want to dream where angels take flight
When you have a dream it's your own strange world
Your world where you can create & change anything that you want
But my dark, endless void is my minds sick taunt
In your dreams you can create a world unseen to mortal eyes
In my sleep my mind is the only one that defies
Please God save me from my nightmare
Save me from this dark sleep
