The need to get away

I'm sick of this pain,
Where I say that I'm OK.
But really I'm not at all,
I need to get away.

I need to go somewhere,
Not where people don't get you.
Where it's OK to be yourself,
And do the things you do.

That place isn't here,
But it's what i want to do,
To feel a different kind of pain,
A kind of pain that's new.

Cuz no one understands,
Why i feel this way,
Or the fact that I have changed.
I need to get away.
