Just Dance

by ~@ngel Whisperer~   Aug 14, 2005

A child watches a woman in white
gracefully waltzing in the moonlight.
She tries so hard not to stare,
but her eyes cannot be pulled from her glare.

A teenage girl sits on the side.
A big wet tear she tries to hide.
A boy walks up and takes her hand,
and softly they dance to the rhythm of the band.

A mother cradles her infant son,
and gently sways while greeting the sun.
Her daughter grabs a big stuffed bear,
and dances along, stroking it's hair.

An elderly couple celebrates their life.
The gentleman offers his hand to his wife.
Together they glide across the floor,
and will do so forever till they exist no more.

Dance the day and the night away, too.
Dance away your whole life through.
Dance until you can dance no more,
and your footsteps will forever echo on the floor.
