They look upon her
and think shes still there
with her empty smiles
and her sightless stare
She died inside
A while ago
But her body still lives
So they'll never know
She tried to hide
The way she felt
The pain, the sorrow
The unexplained guilt
But some people knew
And for that she felt bad
She never meant to hurt them
She didn't want to make them sad
No one would know her entire story
She had to many secrets to keep
She told them a million things about nothing
So they might hate her but wouldn't weep
Nobody knew what truly went on
Behind her deep blue eyes
If she had a choice thats how it would stay
There would be no pain no lies
By the time she got home
and sat on her bed
with horrible thought
Within her head
Her body was numb
Her heart was cold
She just couldn't wait
Until she got old
No man loved her
and her family had changed
Her entire reality
Had been rearranged
No one would miss her
so there was no fear
as she lifted the knife
said " the end it near"
She saw the blood
But felt no pain
There was nothing to lose
And nothing to gain
She fell to the floor
Her wounded soul bleeding
and laid in her blood
As she died without feeling.
