I let you go
and now I regret it
you treated me right
and I'll never forget it

how I was to you
didn't appreciate
the things you would do

You stuck by my side
in everything you
swept away my tears and all the pain I could possibly bring

I gave away the
best thing I'll every have
leaving me feeling
guilty and sad

How could I treat someone
so low
showing no respect
for how they took it so slow

I can honestly say that when he said he loved me
I got scared
because I knew it was true

Now I know how
all the boys I loved felt
because I walked out
on it too.
