Brother and Sister Forever

I look away
He turns my face
To look at him--

I push him off
He pulls me close
Refusing to let go--

I move forward
He steps ahead
Protecting me--

I kick out
He sighs deeply
Ignoring my protest--

I avoid it
He coaxes me
Uncovering my secrets--

I am hurt
He knows it
And is there to comfort me--

I am his
He is mine
Brother and sister forever.
