That's so sad! Drugs and alcohol can do real damage to a relationship. My ex had the same problem and when I was a lot younger I did too. A person will stop when they are ready no one can make them! It's the sad truth! Great emotion in this poem! Good luck to you! Take Care! Brooke~

i really liked this one.... i felt i was almost there with you as you tried and failed to keep this person from destroyin themselves. if u look at the third line of the second paragraph tho there is what i think must be a misspelling......should it not be caused??
