Lost Love

This is the story of a girl,
who had the man of her dreams,
it should have been a fairytale ending,
but things weren't as perfect as the seem,

her friends told her he wasn't good enough,
and she foolishly listened to them,
she pushed him away,
and she completely lost him,

he was just the perfect guys,
but she pushed his love away,
even though he kept trying,
she wouldn't give him the time of day,

this boy tried so many things,
to try to win her love,
but she believed her friends,
she believed he wasn't good enough,

but still this boy kept trying,
to show her that he cared,
whenever she needed someone,
he was always there,

but as time went by,
this boy decided to move on,
she realized how much she loved him,
after he was gone,

now that she knows what she's lost,
and she has become just a friend,
she would do almost anything,
to get him to love her again,

but that will never happen,
she is living in a "once upon a time",
she lost her only chance with him,
she lost the perfect guy,

I wish that she would understand,
I wish that she would see,
that she will never get him back,
but that's something she won't believe,

she knows that he is gone forever,
she knows that they will never be,
she knows exactly what she's lost,
I know because this foolish girl is me!
