Eyes

I look at you from a distance; I can see your eyes. You look hurt,
You look so sad. Are you feeling the way I am?
You smile but your eyes still show pain. You laugh but the pain is still there. Are you feeling the way I am inside?
Your crying your eyes weren’t lying, you hurt inside like me.
I can’t see your eyes anymore; you took the pain from them. I will miss your eyes, and you!
