Road Trip

by Jessica   Aug 15, 2005

Watching the trees pass
I close my eyes as the tears start to form
Attempting to hide this sadness
Memories of you come to mind
A horn blares bringing me back to today
Looking at you as you try and focus
You are not what you once were
You look back at me and see a tear
I know you wanna ask whats wrong
But your scared of the anser
Smiling at me and i smile back
Our reasons are different
We both look away awkwardly
Too many times this has happened
Thinking of somthing to say
Nothing comes to either of us
We decide to stop for something to eat
Small conversations slowly starts in the quaint diner
Back to the care you start to laugh
I look at you as if to say,\\\\\\\"What in the world?\\\\\\\"
\\\\\\\"Remember when...?\\\\\\\" You start to say
Then off of a sudden you stop
Watching your cell phone vibrarte
You pick it up and start talking
Half an hour later you put it down and appolagize
\\\\\\\"Whatever,\\\\\\\" Is all i can say
Neither of us can think of something to say
You just keep driving
We finally pull up to my house
I go to get my things but u stop me
I look at you and thank you for the ride
\\\\\\\"Yeah and you thought I couldn\\\\\\\'t handle for you for 7 hours,\\\\\\\" you say
\\\\\\\"Heh heh, yeah,\\\\\\\" comes out awkwardly
\\\\\\\"You didn\\\\\\\'t talk much is something bothering you?\\\\\\\"
\\\\\\\"nothing that concerns you\\\\\\\"
\\\\\\\"Oh ok then\\\\\\\"
I go to get my stuff again
You grab my arm and as i look at you you try and kiss me
I fall into it for a few seconds then gave my head a shake and slapped you
Angrily you start the car and yell at me to get my stuff
I get my stuff and you screech out of the driveway
That was the last i ever saw or heard of you
Want to see you again but never want to see you again
The tears still havn\\\\\\\'t stopped and they never will
