Paint Me A Picture

The reason for today no
longer exists.
the reason for this year no
longer exists.
the reason for this life has been
taken away from me.

i don’t care if tomorrow never
comes, and its all because of
you that these thoughts run
through my mind.

my body is now cold from
the confusion and the hurt
that you have put me through.

so go on and paint another
picture on your wrist.
draw something really pretty,
go deeper for more effect.
why not, you have already hurt
me enough.

but what i really want is to see
you smile again, and for those
pictures to fade away and be
a memory of yesterday.
