Loving Someone Else

by Sarah Ann   Aug 16, 2005

She sat there staring up wards
Confused from all the sound
No one was there to save her
Lying dead upon the ground

Everyone tried to talk to her
But she was so deaf and blind
Lost with all the noises and
The things stuck on her mind

Why couldn't she just say it
The words still on her tongue
How she always needed him
And wanted him to be the one

Nothing ever turned out right
How she planned for it to be
She was simply made for him
The thing was, he couldn't see

So there she had this problem
And it was only within herself
Maybe we could’ve saved her
But he still loved someone else

The form is just excellent...I'm more of a free verse kind of poet myself...I couldn't do something like that...beautiful work....especially with the ending.

Such a strong and emotional piece. I love it! I didn't expect it to end like that. -I am confused though about ONE part...."No one was there to save her
    Lying dead upon the ground

Everyone tried to talk to her" First you say no one was around and then you said everyone tried to talking to her.

All in all I thought it was a great poem with and amwesome little twist even though it's a bit sad.
