Another fine day. (Huitain)

by Steven Beesley   Aug 16, 2005

Beauty as far as you can see
As I look, it feels like a dream
Wind in my hair, I feel so free
Nature surrounds me, reigns supreme
In the distance I see a stream
Twilight now begins to descend
Dew on the leaves begins to gleam
A fine day is about to end

Another fine piece.I am amazed at how effortlessly the flow of you work is within fixed/traditional forms(mine always seem somewhat forced). This is simply a beautiful piece celebrating a wonderful day, I can really feel the images and sense of the day..Great poem, truly.
