The world lies dark and twisted all around,
Creatures are dying and time is slowing down.
Black and grey forests are spreading on for miles,
The luscious green grass has turned pale white.
Armageddon seems close at hand,
There is ice from too much moon, no sun.
And I see an endless beach, without waves,
With sand so black, it’s used for graves.
I’m gasping for breath, growing tired and cold;
A silhouette against the endless gaping hole.
Fighting in vain for a world already let go.
Despite it all, begging death not to take hold.
Because regardless of the state of the world,
In dire spite of the wretched sky painted grey,
Even in a place of sadness and pain;
There is no need for my heart to ache.-
For I find that with you there are no tears,
And that when we kiss I can hear the angels cheer.
That as I hold you close I only want you more.
Because above the life lost in the eve of the end.
Love truly lives on, until and beyond the edge.
“So reflect upon what I have just said;
Why wonder why love leaves death to stop and stare-
-That he finds love… so terribly hard to comprehend?â€
