you sheltered me
when i was left in the rain
you healed my wounds
when i was left with the pain
you made me smile
when i was left to cry
you made me love
when i thought i couldn't try
you gave so much
when i had nothing in return
you fought back the flames
when i had gotten these burns
you fixed my heart
when he left it broke
you gave me air
when i thought I'd choke
you were always there
when i needed you most
so i shall raise my glass
to you in this toast

for you are a friend
strong and true
and loyal and good
and kindhearted too
and i can never convey
just how much you've meant
thought the days
the hours
the minutes we've spent

so i must say i love you
for all that you've done

    That was sooo sweet. it sounds like u ahve a great friend and u must be a great friend for writing that. the flow was so perfect in this poem. it was up beat and personal. great job.

    Okay i don't remember what poem i had left a previous comment under, so here. I wasn't trying to yell at you was explaining to you how i felt. I Also did not know that there were two people under this s/n. So To rach: Please do not judge me without knowing what i go through each and everyday. To bee: thank you for commenting my poem, the only reason i did not put it in a email was because not everyone will check there poem and quotes emails.
