4 seasons

by Crystal   Aug 17, 2005

Please wet rain, dry my tears
Remove the pain and sorrow of my fears

Please hot sun, cool my mind
Make it so I can release and find

Please plain leaves, make me complex
Help me deal with life's challenges and hecks

Please cold winter, warm my heart
Separate my feelings from the world apart

A wet season to wash away the pain
A hot season to melt away in vain

The plain season to make me whole and white
The cold season to live happy in spite

All four seasons to live your life
Choose to live happy, or live in strife

I'm loving the contradictions within this. Also, using the different seasons to mirror your feelings is awesome. However, the last line didn't really coincide with the rest of the poem in my opinion. At first you were talking about yourself, then you addressed the reader at the end. But that's just my opinion! Take care~Holly
