Walls Eventually Fall

by Ginny   Aug 17, 2005

She walks alone on the sidewalk
no care in the world,
but when she comes home
she feels so whirled

she made a C,
not a big deal,
but when her father found out,
everything became surreal

he yelled and screamed
threw and hit
she started to cry
and he told her to quit

she couldn't stop,
choking in tears,
but what could happen next,
was the sum of all fears

he threw back his hand
looking forward to blood
she closed her eyes,
and her tears began to flood

once again choking,
but this time in pain
what the hell was he thinking
this man is insane

the place she calls home
is no place at all
whenever she feels good
she knows the walls will eventually fall

This is a poem about one of my dear friends who i love so much. Please rate!
