Haunted Dreams

I can still hear your voice
inside my head
haunting me
telling me lies but i believe

hold me so the feeling grows
moves through my body
so then i feel warm inside
knowing your there beside me

but not with me
make me believe
that the Sky's are purple
and everything i want is reality

kiss me softly one more time
like you did before
lie to me make me feel wanted
make me feel loved

make it so i can continue
continue this dream
so i will never have to wake
so i can float on my clouds

my clouds of innocence
my wings spread wide
i fly out into the night
wishing you were here

i look around i see them
but not you
my eyes open
I'm no longer on my clouds

I'm in my bed
eyes wet from crying
so much pain corrupts me
knowing it was a dream

a dream i couldn't follow...
a dream i couldn't see
