Warning signs

I could remember when my heart would race, while my stomach would swirl.
Then we started this game, of you as my man and me as your girl.

We would talk all night, of thins on our minds,
Not noticing all the warning signs.

Then someone from your past came from out of the blue.
And with loves past blinding you, you could not see she would never be true.

Your love seem to stop for no real reason,
As if your love for me was no longer in season.

I tried to stay away to have my new start,
Still trying to find out why you let her tear our love apart.

I start to move on, oh so very slow
Now with this experience I will continue to grow
