Relentless voices

by Laura   Aug 19, 2005

Like thunder in a strom.
Your voice is loud and relentless in my head.
Don’t worry
I’ll put my razor down eventually.
Come save me.
You could be my savior.
You could be the one to make everything alright.
Catch my tears on your fingertips.
And put your lips to mine.
Hold me close.
Your voice is the broken record in my mind
telling me everything is going to be
okay.
