Daze Of Gloom.

by «-Pale-Petals-»   Aug 19, 2005

And the tone of silence rings through my ears,
As I lay in a daze of gloom,
Your touch, your eyes, your smile, your lips,
Is too much to consume,

Our beautiful, iridescent love,
Has transformed itself into a hate,
Two souls that were entwined,
Are now, getting further and further away.

Its funny how things worked out,
Between you and I,
The truth is a hard thing to keep hold of,
As do cowards choose to lie,
You are a coward.

My heart has plummeted,
Right past my feet,
How could you do this?

I feel so pathetic,
Incredibly naive,
I should’ve known,
God, if only I knew.

I hate you so much,
And this hate continues on,
But I love you for all the things you’ve done,
Because now I’ve become so strong,

So when your next victim approaches,
I hope she smells your lies,
I wish you’d just grow up.
And unmask your hideous disguise

this isnt much of a poem.
i try.
