You Are My God

by williamcampbell   Aug 20, 2005

You are my Conscience, I shunned your voice.

You are my Water, Yet I thirsted.

You are my Food, And yet I starved

You are my Air, I held my breath.

You are my Fuel, My tank was empty.

You are my Friend, I walked alone.

You are my Family, I divorced myself.

You are my God, Never again.

Now,

You are my Conscience, I heed your voice.

You are my Water, My cup runs over.

You are my Food, And I am filled.

You are my Air, I breathe you in.

You are my Fuel, My tank is full.

You are my Friend, I’ll stay with you.

You are my Family, The Prodigal returned.

You are my God, I love You Lord.
