Love + Hands

by undying blusher   Aug 20, 2005

She runs her hands through his messy brown hair
He tucks a loose strand behind her ear,
Brushing his thumb ever so slightly and softly
Against her flushed cheek
They must go their separate ways
Their hands were locked until they slowly drifted away
Held on for a moment before the tip of their fingers fully parted
His hands on his hips
Watching her leave
She turns to wave
He does the same

Each waiting for the moment
They’ll be back in each other’s sweet embrace
Who knows how long that will take
