He could

He looks in her eyes so deeply
But on the outside he acts so cheaply
He could have been better
He could write her a love letter
He could show her he cares
He could compliment what she wears
He says he loves her so much
And he’d give anything for her soft touch
Maybe he’s scared to show how he feels
But he still got her head over heels
All she needs is a simple kiss
And thru the day it’s all she has to miss
She gets home and calls him on the phone
Just to hear that their date was postponed
He doesn’t always know what to say
But he loves her and wants her to stay
She says she loves him too
But as their relationship grew
She really got to know him
And noticed their relationship was full of grim
so sadly to say their relationship had to end
