Halfway Out Of Breath
Running Through The Trees
Scraping My Foot
Against The Bitter Weeds

Blood Tore To My Body
As I Began To Flee
And Turned Around To Look
At The Monster After Me

I Fell Unto The Ground
Crawled My Way Onto The Creek
I Rested In The Water
The Blood Began To Leak

I Hear The Monster Screaming
Calling Out My Name
I Continue To Run
Hoping Not In Vain

My Face Flushed In Fear
My Body Start To Stop
The Next Thing I Know
I Feel My Body Drop

I Can't Move
I'm Still As Pure Lead
As I Watch The Blood
Pore From Among My Head

The Bat Fell Quickly
The Monster Kicked My Ribs
And Yelled Loudly
I Wish You Had Been Killed

He Took Another Sip
And Through Down The Wine
And Kicked The Feeble
Lifeless Corpse Of Mine

Three Months Later
I Was In a Hospital Bed
The Doctors Were Shocked
At All The Blood I Bleed

They Asked Me Who Did It
I Gave a Cold Stare
And Said a Monster
For He Is Always There

I Whispered Softly
Daddy Loves Me So
But Its The Bitter Wine
That Makes The Monster Grow

Please Don't Blame Daddy
Its Soberness He Lacks
Then She Closed Her Eyes
And Never Did Come Back
