It is refreshing to see a poet using the traditional forms.I did a few in my earlier years(villanelles, haiku, rondelets, tanka, etc.) but was not very pleased with those pieces(other words-I was no good) and I found I'm more comfortable with free verse.However in the last few years I've grown to appreciate the talent and work it takes to write a good traditional piece.I've read through a few of your pieces and am very impressed at the variety of forms you excel in.I really like this one-an excellent love poem, emotions conveyed so well withinn a structured rhyme form.Impressive.
