We sit and watch home videos
and laugh like you were there
it seemed to me back then
it was for us that cared

You would laugh, make jokes,
and smiled quite a bit
We never saw the pain inside
that made you give up and quit

Basketball was our hobby
thats what you taught us how to do
our team is making it
and were making it with out you

I'm trying to learn from Kyle
just what he does on the water
but its not the same
as a father teaching a daughter

Its too bad you couldn't be here
to support your family and friends
I guess it just wasn't important
because your life, you chose to end.
