I wonder if you were to do it to me
how would I feel?
If you were to break up with me instead
would I ever heal?

What if one day it was my turn for you to say
"You don't love me anymore
And things just ain't the same"
would my heart feel sore?

What if one day you told me that
"You don't care about me
and never did"
would I care to ask why or let it be?

What if one day
you broke all the promises you made
and it didn't bother you one bit
Can I just watch us fade?

What if we were at the movies
and you flirted with a girl right in front of me
would I do the same to you
Or be so hurt and act as if I didn't see?

What if one day everything was to turn around?
And all the things I did to you, you started doing to me?
