Daggers to the heart!

I know the past still haunts me
and i am truly sorry for the sins
i have caused you and myself.

I know it is impossible to mend the past
The stairs once there, are gone
I feel stranded in the this present place
wishing i could correct what i did wrong.

For my wrong doings

Forgiveness is not a possibility
and a true friendship seems unlikely

But i wish to apologize once again
And my message to you is sincere
I'm sure there are plenty of guys out there
Who can give you what you deserve

Looking at you, simply doesn't do it
Staring, is all that makes any sense!
Your beauty is astonishing
And every time I'm near you
I feel the daggers punish me for what i have done

These scars i will carry for eternity
But i hope i can regain your trust.

    this stanza really got me:
