Storm Clouds Hanging Over Me!

by Kane Burden   Aug 20, 2005

Dark storm clouds hanging over me
darkness falling down upon me
Like an endless fear
Cold and dim, the water runs down my face.

Things use to be so beautiful
Heavens were bright
The sky was blue
Never did i see myself where i am now
Never could i see myself this cold and blue.

how did things end up this way
The player isn't meant to be played
The Tiger is not a prey.
I creeped into your life, and settled in your mind
Living as an intruder
but without me you remain undefined

So you gradually gathered the courage
To feed me with your love
but afraid of being bitten
Your friends held you back
holding your arm tightly
ready to pull you back.

I will remain in your conscience
for years to come
Though we are apart
We will always be one!

Kane, another great one! I'm sorry if this is true, but it is inspirational! You haven't written in so long! It's good to see some new stuff!

This poem is so passionate. I love it very much. I love these lines "I creeped into your life, and settled in your mind, Living as an intruder
but without me you remain undefined" brilliant also the last two lines are awesome!
