Is there a reason

Is there a reason.
Why we wake up each day.
And commit such treason.
And expect society not to decay.

Is there an understanding.
For why it is we love.
With such a demanding.
Or is it even to speak of.

Is there a point.
To the decisions we make.
Either to anoint.
Or decide another partake.
----------------------------------------
Is there a justice.
In what history has done.
From Napolean to Agustus.
And Caesar to Rome.
----------------------------------------
Is there a cause.
For what you've done.
To abide by the laws.
Or have a little fun.
----------------------------------------
If there is a rationality.
For what it is we "do".
Think about your personality.
And if you are the real "you" ?
