Dark as night
You made everything feel right
I didn't even know you
but I some how knew you'd be true
So I stuck around
hoping my heart wouldn't hit the ground
I trusted you
I didn't know what else to do
I was scared of how I felt
and how you made my heart melt
I don't even know who you are
but you made me feel like I was your shining star
Then I awoke
when I told people they thought it was a joke
They said it was just a dream
but it was so real it seemed.
