If my life could begin again

If my life could begin again,
I know what I would do,
I’d appreciate everything so much,
And smile for what is through.

I’d never get that number,
So I’d never make that call,
And even if I did,
I’d never deny it all.

I’d find the friends who have respect,
For all others and their selves,
Not the ones with no regard
Who in substantial activity delves.

I would never lose a number,
And never fail a friend,
Because as my life moves along,
My supporters seem to end.

I’d never sit back in the crowd,
I’d stand up for every belief,
And instead of hunting negatives,
I’d find remedies for relief.

I’d value my possessions,
Because some people don’t have many,
And be thankful for people’s love
Because some unfortunate don’t have any.

I’d never underestimate love
And the power of truth
Because I don’t lie anymore
And I have God as my proof.

I’d never waste a moment
Sleeping through the light
Because I feel lack of achievement,
When I sleep more than one night.

And most of all I’d never let myself become so negative,
If my life could begin again, I’d use my time to live!
