Lost...

by Black Princess   Aug 21, 2005

When her parents found her
she still had the razor in her hand,
her face so pale, but still beautiful
she was lost like grains of sand.

Days before this happened
there was no way you would know,
that this girl was fighting for her life
that days after she would let go.

Every night she cut herself
hoping it would rid her of her pain,
the thoughts that burn her memory
happening time and time again.

Slowly the girl everyone knew
started to disappear,
instead they watched her crumble
tear after salty tear.

In class she can't work
distracted by her life,
all her past comes back on her
she forgets it with a knife.

The teachers call her parents
saying they think something is wrong,
so they make a time for a meeting
and to bring their daughter along.

The girl sits there silently
as her parents say shes fine.
"its just a phase she's going through
it'll go away in time"

She goes home and crys
thinking of what she wanted to say
thinking of what she should tell them
that this will be her last day.

Her back against the wall
her lap catching her tears,
she begins to shake so violently
as she starts to end her fears.

Her blood begins to fall
as crimson as a rose,
we all ask why she left us,
but she is the only one who knows.

No matter how many tears are shed,
no matter how many times they pray,
god can not bring her back
satan stole her soul that day.
