Words of Hate

by k i k i   Aug 21, 2005

A word of hate,
Inscribed into her mind, her skin.
Tears of bloodied fear tremble,
Blood boiling to the point, it must escape.
No where to run to, no where to hide, the
Thoughts and fears
That lies within, too scared to surface.
Pools of dreams that once shone bright,
Now everything has changed,
Nothing will ever be the same, neither will she.
The blunted knife lies upon the windows ledge,
A reminder of what’s happened,
Now shown by
An indentation of defences; knots and crosses.
Scars that will never fade,
And live with her each day.
Even though the actions have drifted by,
The bloodstain, relevant on the knife itself,
Glimpse of her hate.
