Loved those lines! This poem i am printing and hanging on my fridge!! It will be my everyday paper I wake up to and read! I loved this poem because I have answered yes to some of those questions because I have made a difference in someones life and its one of the greatest feelings in the world. If only other people could answer yes as well maybe there would be less people hurting in the world. You truly have a gift and a wonderful heart! I loved loved loved this poem!!! 5 gold stars....

"If you knew a person with disease was dying
Would you tell them to give up or to keep on trying?

This was a very powerful poem with very strong messages attached and very provocative, making the reader think about so many difffernt issues going on around us. we should all really take mor note about issues and people around us. Superb, truly one of the better poems that I have enjoyed reading in quite some time.

This is one of the best poems I have read on this site, and I have been on here since October 2005. It's truly inspirational. And you're right. Many people do only look at the surface. I used to be one of them. I've learned how to look past it. This poem is touching in so many ways. Thank you for sharing it.

This poem really hit home for me. Being a nurse I see people from all walks of life and have learned you can never judge someone by what you see on the surface. There are many things that make people what they are and lead them down their chosen paths. Sometimes just a helping hand from someone or a kind word can make a difference. Good job on the poem.
