Moon Crept

by k i k i   Aug 21, 2005

Silent he crept, through darkness,
Onto the shine of the moon.
Only sounds of the waves below.
It was like the waves,
Demon dogs biting.
Once not being enough.
Their teeth bared all to allocate.
Still, he was silently still.

Eyes flickered, no sounds,
Just silence.
Reflection of him, as he falls.
Fading into despair,
Like quicksand through fingers.
He’s on his bare knees,
Trying to stay strong.
Silent. Pain. Hurt.

No sound of defeat,
Sobbing as he takes his final breathe.
Never standing tall again,
Silence of his death. Dead.
Gone, love will return to me,
Believing he will too.
Even though he’s not here by my side,
In spirit, over me watching.

Continuing to love, to care,
Like he did before.
Silence is among us now
That he’s gone.
No laughing alone at the,
Silly things,
Yet, tears of sadness fall,
Knowing I won’t ever see him cry.

Hiding in the corner,
Crying, trying not to wake him.
Past memories of happiness,
Are all that I hold?
That gleaming smile lit up,
My world, making me happy.
Soul tared, alone.
Tears falling, to the grave.
