I wanted to write a love song
but I had no-one to sing it to.
Silly as this may seem,
I'm writing this one for you...

I've got this photo of you
and its, etched in the back of my mind
I seem to find the time every night
to look it over again.
Words have yet to be spoken,
you're simply letters on a screen
a black & white photo,
a beautiful scene from my favorite dream.
And as silly as this may seem,

I take it as a sign
you see it as a friendship
I think you've gone blind
and I just can't get past
this photograph
these conversations that seem to last
talks about nothing,
that mean everything to me.
